Great day fishing!!

Took my grandson fishing today. He is now 11, loves to fish bream. We caught well over 100 fish, and kept 30 big bluegills. We also had 7 catfish. The winds were real strong, but we were able to fish a tree lined canal. To see those smiles are priceless, I really had a great time. Those fish were great tasting too, with a couple of cold beers.

Sounds like a great day Bubby! You're right - there's nothing better than seeing the kids smiling after a day of fishing. Okay, the cold beer helps too!!

My granddaughters, 1 1/2 and 5 years old, are here visiting this weekend. The older told me today she wanted to go fishing, so tomorrow I am going to take her to a friends pond. If she can catch one fish she will be talking about it for a while. My sons, 29 and 27 still enjoy comming home a spending a day on the lake fishing, my almost 16 year old step daughter is another story. She will go, to read a book or just stretch out accross the seats and sleep.

Great to hear Bubby!! I've been blessed to fish very often in many places, but I enjoy bobbing around with my two boys on the backyard pond the most!! Great memories guys!!!
