Where do you get a transducer to put on troll motors ? Bass pro does not show them in their catalog.... I have a Humminbird 170 on my Z6 - the mount is there and the plug is behind the front panel but it did not have the transducer, why I do not know. I assume I can buy the transducer to fit it, right?

That was dumb posting a blank message.

Go to the Humminbird website and find the transducer number for that finder. Google the transducer number and you'll find many sources; of course, you could buy it from Humminbird, link attached shows the transducer recommended for that finder.

But you could get it at a better price elsewhere. Look for the XTM-9-20-T transducer or go for the XHS-9-20-T and use a trolling motor adapter from Transducer Shield & Saver, Transducer Armor or Raptor as these help protect the transducer from the occasional meetings with stumps and rocks.

Humminbird Greg, I looked at the xtm 9-20-t on Bass Pro shop website for $65 but it does not say it fits the 170 model I have....will it?

You're kidding, right? Humminbird website says it does. Humminbird Greg, who works for Humminbird, says it does. I say it does. What more do you want?

Yes the XTM-9-20-T will work with the PMax 170. Both this and the standard XNT-9-20-T use the same exact internal elements in the transducer to produce both the 200kHz and 83kHz sonar frequencies.
