Welcome, please share your issues. I've got a 2003 288 Sport repowered with a Ficht 225. Works better than new. I restored this beginning in 2016 and it's been trouble free since I lost a no. 1 cylinder due to a spun (newly replaced) water pump impeller. She works for anything from cruising, fishing, water sports including wakeboarding! She throws a decent wake, it's just hard to regulate the speed consistently, but she gets up to 62 mph in 15 seconds! The trailer (painted steel) has been a sore spot and I've recently finally got everything working including the surge brakes (replaced select internal parts only), brake lines rot, caliper seizing (removed, cleaned and resealed pistons only), and wiring of course, and the usual wheel bearing issues.
