Ok i got a new light but the light has brown and yellow wires and the plug im splicing it to has red and black. Which ones go with each other? Thanks

The Brown Wire on the light is the running light, the yellow wire is the turn and brake light. You will have to test the red and black to see which is which.

Tony I know I am late with this suggestion, but I would switch them out to LED. I made the switch and have not had a problem in two years! If you already have them ofcourse ignore this post!

I bought new lights for my boat. Left and Right and the 3-light center bar. All are the new LED type. I've heard all good thing about them so I thought I'd give them a try! As soon as the weather warms a bit, I'll get them installed.

Really they have been a godsend. Maybe I was doing something wrong and being lazy not wanting to unplug my lights all the time, but have never had a problem. I have probably just jinxed myself but it has been two years!
