Hello everyone, my name is John. I have a 2024 Nitro Z18. I want to replace the Interstate trolling motor batteries (group 31)with Tracker Lithium batteries (group 24). Will I need new battery trays?

The new batteries will be smaller so the old trays will work...up to you whether you want to swap them out with smaller ones to gain some space or re-arrange maybe. I would probably just keep the 31 size trays there and pad with a foam piece or something. The trays will be about 3 inches too long for the new battery's.

Thanks for the reply. That’s what I did, stuck with the larger trays and and put in some hard foam spacers so they won’t move around.
