Too good to be true???

I almost fell for it. I stumbled across a boat website that had a 2007 TR-21x with a 250 mercury and fully loaded for $2900.00. Boat looked great. Emailed the guy and asked him if the $2900.00 was correct. He said that was the price of the boat. I started thinking what I could get rid of and get the cash. Ofcourse he said he was on an oil platform and couldn't be there but to send the money to the ebay escrow agent and the boat would be shipped to me for a 7 day period for me to decline or accept. I was drooling at this point. My stepson got online and found the same boat, same picture and same lot where it was stored for $29,000.00. Talked to some guys at work and they said it was a scam and they had seen the same thing before. Now, I was crying, but glad I didn't send the money. I should have known better. Too good to be true!!:angry:

You better get up to speed on the scam world because that on has been around for years. There are a lot more sophisticated ones out there. Caveat Emptor!!
