I live near Peoria IL and we had a series of stories this past summer about people having these Asian Carp jumpo into their boats while out on the Illinis River. One woman was knocked off her jetski and went unconscious for a little while. A passing boat saw her jetski drifting and came over and found her. Other story is that local fishermen are taking out metal garbage can lids with them on the river to act as shields when they try to jump into boat. I have only been out on river a few times so I have not had the mis-fortune of seeing one yet. Hope I never do.
