This is a great site and just signed up. I own a pro team 185 with a 90hp on the back and a 67# brute with eagle fishmark 240. I am an Aircraft Hydraulics Crafstman with the rank of Ssgt in the USAF stationed in Little Rock. I hope to learn and share alot of info with all of you.

Welcome to the board. I have the same setup as you only in the 2000 model. Love the boat. Check out the rally info on the front page and attend if you can. If you have any specific questions about the 185 give me a holler.

Ahhh yes, another astute conniseur of boat flesh...Welcome, those of us who fish from "Tracker" aluminum boats simply know we are correct...it is the small !@#$s on the glass boys that make them the way they are....LOL If you stick around here, and I sure hope you do, you will get a lot of good info...some serious ribbing disguised as subtle and not so subtle "digs" (all in fun) and if you are lucky like me, meet some of these folks and make friends... This is one very amazing internet site... Joy and tragedy have been shared here...all with respect and genuine kindness and friendship. So, if your wife kicks you out of the house, your dog runs off, or your trolling motor gets stolen you can come here for a friendly ear... If you catch fish and win a tournament somebody here will be jealous...kidding...we want to hear about it.

Welcome aboard!! Don't worry about the tin thing, the glass boys really are nice eventhough they toss some rocks at the tin people. Isn't there an old saying about glass boats and rocks?? LOL

How much of the F-16's are composite?

I thought it was just the control surfaces.....

Welcome on Sarge! Man that's a great looking boat you got! ( Actually I have just like it 'cept a 50hp) You're going to love it. I've come very close to almost catching some not so many fish in mine. It's GREAT!!!

I was in the old SAC many years ago. The pilot would yell CONTACT and I would spin the prop on the B-52. Truth is I was in security police. Got out in 1970 after Nixon figured out we could win the war without me. He was wrong.

Good luck with your new boat-- it's a beauty. You've landed in with a great group of guys for some good advice and lots of BS.

Thanks for the warm welcome, I currently work nights so i dont get to post till after midnight. F-16 are tin too so now what. And ive got sparkelies in my registration number. As for the pro team ive had it since June and love it

Are you sure, Mac? Again, I thought that the composite sections on all the newer planes were limited to the control sections..... On the other hand, those models hanging from MO's ceiling that he keeps blowing up..... :^)

me!

I don't know to what extent the amount of the composite used is,..I just keep reading about how the Stealth is virtually radar proof, do to radar wave absorbing composite materials,..and the surface design of the plane and the "coatings" used to paint it with........I'm not an expert by any means...just throwin out DIGS at all the Tin men on this site!!.LOL And I'm pretty sure the F-18's are not all aluminum...they may have an aluminum frame but their "skin" is not aluminum...I sat in one in CA one time when my bro worked at China Lakes NWC,..and it was AWESOME!!!...if you think the GPS and mapping systems on our boats is cool...you should see what the fly-boys get to play with!!...(and I saw that stuff 15yrs ago!!! I can't imagine the upgrades they've got now!! LOL) The technology that our armed forces have now is absolutely cosmic!!!

Back in 1963, when I was 13 and my family had just moved to St. Louis, MacDonnell Aircraft was celebrating their 25th anniversary with an open house and I went with my father..... The one thing I remember seeing was an F-4 Phantom with some of the side panels removed to reveal the wiring..... Nuthin' but wires! Everywhere! All neatly arranged and bundled - but still! And that was 40 years ago! I can't imagine what it must be like under the skin of one of todays fly-by-wire planes with all the sophisticated electronics they have! And how in the world do they ever manage to repair one of those things if a shell should pierce the skin.....

What a day to join. This site is very habbit forming so Welcome to your new home. Tin is in and Glass is past.

You folks know the B1B Stealth Bomber is tin right. We don't need sparkles cause we sneak up on there Bass..
