Meeting a friend to go fishing in about an hour. Was hooking my boat up to the truck and noticed an unusual amount of wheel grease inside the inner portion (the side that faces the trailer) of my wheel. The wheel on the other side is spotless. I assume this is a blown seal on my hub..?? I have no idea how long this has been like this. I squirted extra grease into the hub...it did'nt really need it though. I havent noticed any problems in towing, though I have not checked my hubs for heat build up either. Am I safe to go fishing today...it's about a 40 minute tow roundtrip on secondary roads(no freeway)?

You need to check it in route, just to make sure. Had the same situation on mine, not too long ago. Mine is towing fine, but I keep a close eye.

And yes, you probably could use a new rear seal.
