Livewell Switch

I have a 2000 640 LX and this may be a dumb question but the livewell switch on the left side of the console is a on/off/on switch...what do the 2 on positions do??(i know it turns the pump on one way)

One on will set the pump on auto and pump water for about a minute every 5 mins or so. And the other ON will run pump continuously. Good for filling the well.

which way is the auto?(all the words on the switch have faded)

Press the UP/Top is Manual (it will keep pulling fresh water from the lake until you turn it off) and DOWN/Bottom is Auto, where it will recirculate the water all ready IN the livewell for about 1 min every 5 mins or so. I had all mine faded and printed with a lable machine and then used clear nail polish on the switches. Over 4 years the printed labels yellowed a bit but are still completely readable!
