Hey FatRap, good news. I took my son and niece over to Anita and let them try out the East silt pond this last weekend. We were curious how it was doing. They killed the front silt ponds and restocked them at the same time as the lake. We thought we could get a good gauge on how the restocking was going. Now lean it real close I don't want to start a stampede, whisper whisper They were catching 12 and 14 inch bass left and right on buzz baits.

The state stocked the lake and pond with 7 inch bass and 2 to 3 inch bass the first stocking then 2 to 3 inchers the next 2 years. It looks like the first year class is now at 14 and the second year is at 12 inch. THE 12 INCHERS ARE FAT LIKE LITTLE FOOTBALLS. Now for the really good stuff. I had a 2 inch bass manage to get himself hooked on my buzzbait. He was unhurt. But that means the first year stocking must have spawned last year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is exciting news as the restocking is only three years old. The lake should be at the same level of growth as the pond. YEAH BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anita is on it's way back wooohooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
