Carpet Replacement

I have a 2008 Nitro 189 Sport that I’m wanting to replace the carpet in. I found a company that has pre cut carpet for the 188. I believe it has cup holders in the corners the company said they wouldn’t cut out since the 189s don’t have those. They are pretty sure the measurements are the same. I see the 188 is a longer boat than the 189. I can’t find any floor specs to determine a match or not. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks Richard

May have to trim the carpet. If the lids are the same that would be nice. Its a lot of work to replce carpet, but very satisfying when its done. One reminder be sure to keep the grain (forgot the term) on each piece the same direction (learned from experience!)

Contact cement works great for your lids.

Are we referring to the main deck area in seating compartment?

Im not even sure how the sport is layed out. I redid an old 95 rick clunn edition and it sucked. looked good when done. I wrapped one lid and the grain was running wrong way and it waa noticeable... lol

Some day I might do some more on the seating cockpit area, just certain parts but not the entire thing, the snap in carpet is long gone, the EVA foam is phenomenal by comparison.
