How did you sell your last boat??? I'm thinking of putting mine on ebay... what do you think? I want to sell it fast and will take a bit shorter deal to do so(with in reason)

Also... did you fish cedar creek last week?

If you've posted it on BFHP and Texas Fishing Forum (I know you have on TFF) and here, you've done about as good as you can online without going to boattrader (who has changed to only taking ads from dealers, I think). If you do sell it on ebay, please let us know the results.

I'm guessing Bass Pro won't take the rig in on trade?

I sold my Targa on-line in about a month (complete transaction and delivery). I advertised on iboats.com, bfhp, here, boattrader.com and maybe some others.

Not sure if boattrader changed or not, but since it is an offshoot of the boattrader magazine, I would think that they still will take your money! I also advertised in two newspapers, but that didn't produce anything.

I sold it to someone in Wisconsin, and delivered it midpoint (IL). For me, I'm not sure if I'd do the ebay thing. Many do (with reserves set), but I'd be a little nervous. Too much scam stuff going on there for my money.

Let me know if you have any more questions. I'd be glad to pass on some tips that I thought helped, or I should have done.

Kraig,

I put mine on several sites, TFF, BFHP, also on a Lousianna outdoor site because we are fairly close to LA. I think it was called Lousianna Rod & Reel? got several bites from TFF and others I sold it to a guy in Lousianna but did not think to ask him where he saw it.

Yes, I did go to Cedar Creek, bassed fished 1st couple of hours did fairly well caught 5-6 up to 4lbs. shallow towards backs of small creeks and coves. catfished for a few hours kept 8 flipping boat houses w/shad wasn't as good as has been, crappie fished next, did great, brought home 16, caught lots more, on planted brush tops.

Where are you looking to buy your boat from, if East Texas Boat World in Longview isn't totally out, you ought to give them a call, ask for JASON they're good folks. They may can help you move yours. KENNY
