Well finally got the under trailer led strip lighting done that I bought from BlueWater LED. I got this 7 pin to 5/4 flat adapter from etrailer.com.
That way I could plug in the under trailer led lights to an on/off waterproof switch mounted on the trailer JUST in case any officials object to my red led lights (reflects off the roadway, not in the eyes). I put the cigarette lighter plug wires in a split loom to give it a neat appearance and prevent road chaff.
No worries if you forget to turn off the under trailer lights, as it only works (on my truck) when the ignition switch is on.
They gonna get a workout Tues morning when I leave at 4am for Houma, LA
