Well, given the lambasting (?) I've been taking today, I gotta say, I have too much crap in my life to have to come here and take it here too. I used to come here because I thought it was a place to come get support and talk with friends. The good, bad, and ugly. In the past we could always disagree, but did it respectfully and life went on. I didn't know so many people thought so little of me, so I will do you all a favor and bow out gracefully. (maybe too late for that! LOL) Anyhow, I have a line of BS to perfect, used cars to sell, KVD to beat, and ego to stroke, tourneys to win so I can pay for a house I might someday get, not too mention I have to figure out my arse from a hole in the ground. Have fun all! I am sorry to those who had to witness today's event's. Really I came here this morning in a great mood, and many of y'all ruined it. I don't like your playground anymore, I'll go start my own. Mac, Ken, Tox, Trep, Tmann, Marke, Buzz, Bob, etc, you guys know my # and e-mail. Later

So what you're saying is that you're willing to give up the fellowship here because some guy(s) don't know when to shut their mouth? PLease....Dude, we all have stressful lives. Mine would be that much more if I were trying to make it like you on the pro series. I respect you greatly for that.



You can't just leave.....You've got too many Buds on here to do that.



The saying goes "one bad apple spoils the whole bunch" I say, "Piss on that! There are still good apples to be eaten"



If you're leaving because work's stressing you out or family obligations or something serious like that....then good luck to you....If you're leaving because of a few "wayward" comments by some "children" I say, "Shame on you"
 
Don't sweat it dude, the trollers always leave the site before too long. You were here before me, and will be afterwords. Just ignore the jackasses, they usually don't have enough energy to rant for too long.................sa
 
I hope you ain't serious! While I don't know you in person, I never took you to be the kind of guy who would bail like that. You have more friends than "enemies" here, so stick around!

Rob, Don't mind the long posts buddy, but could you make a new paragraph every once in awhile........... :)



And don't go anywhere. I'm actually learning things from you!!!! I always had a bad habbit of not changing baits no matter what. Now thanks to things you said about patterns and such I've begin to change baits more often and as a result I have more success.

You're one of the folks who keep this board interesting.



Most of us have jumped to your defense at one point or another. This place is too nutty to take stuff like today seriously.



And this comes from a guy who got slammed for over-using the term j*** n**s!



But if you need to take a break to get some perspective or to re-think your participation, I can respect that. Just poke your head in once in awhile so we know you're alive and well.

Never met you, don't know you, (other than reading your posts here),never fished with you,( and I know you don't know me) but after reading today's events I can understand 100% your being upset. I'm one of those members who usually checks in every few days, occasionally adds to a thread, LEARNS alot from all the posts about things a first time new boat owner needs to know.

(tin, sorry, no sparklies here, LOL)

Also I LEARN alot about fishing from reading these threads, and I for one have been quietly watching your updates, and wishing you huge successes in what you're trying to accomplish. I for one am hoping you BOTH calm down, and that you please re-think about leaving the site.



Like I said, I come to this site to learn, laugh, and relax, and at least speaking just for myself, I'm hoping ya both agree to disagree, and move on, and that you, Rob, end up hangin' around, life's way too short!! Sorry this post went so long, I've read posts from both you guys in the past, and value BOTH of your opinions, and reading today's events, was moved to write. Whatever you decide Rob, stay, leave, whatever, I'll still be wishing you well this upcoming tournament season...... tightlines... egMike

Im like egMike. I look in on the site at least once a day and post from time to time. Im no where near as knowledgeable as all you "regulars" so i usually just listen. There is a lot to be learned by listening to everyone here and I have certainly learned a TON from you Rob. You seem like a great guy. When I heard you were fishin the Everstarts I was stoked for you! I thought that was awesome. Whenever you spoke about it I was nothing but interested in everything you had to say about your tournament fishin. Never for a minute have I ever thought you had a big ego. Forget all that garbage. Everyone here is hilarious and you are no exception. I feel like im part of the family here and I never even say a word and nobody knows who I am. It wouldn't be the same without you. Take a break and come back when you've relaxed a little, PLEASE! Nobody who was on your side to start with(most everyone including me) thinks any less of you now. No reason too. So stick around. And you know what, this is coming from a guy with a tin can and a 60hp motor. Now that has got to mean something to you!:)

Well I have avoided this like the plague, but I have to chime in...Tox you rule.....I used to think Mac ruled....well he still does (I have to say that or else he will fire me for the 129th time this year....LOL)....
