Anyone know where their might be a hull id other than the one on the starboard rear of the boat? Where the manufacture might have another hidden? This is on a 1995 nitro where the transom has been repaired and has an id tag/plate screwed into the transom. No embedded id on the right rear corner. Want to make sure this isn't a stolen boat. Thanks.

to my knowlage thats the only place on the boat.

if you have a title in hand that matches the hull id on the boat i'm pretty sure no one would find you at fault if somehow it was later identified as a stolen boat you've done your due diligance.

Are they actual screws or are they an unusual looking rivet..? The reason I ask, is because vehicle manufacturers only use a particular rivet that the general public "supposedly" cannot obtain. If it was reattached using this rivet (u can't re-use them), then u should be good, unless of course they just glued the old rivet heads on to make it look legit.

And no, there is no other HIN on the boat.

I have just noticed that Tracker is putting another ID tag on the Grizzlies. Its right underneath the top rail about half way up the port side. So having said that maybe there is another. I had a 96 190Tf and never noticed another tag. I'll do some checking tomorrow and see what I can find out.
