Greg, it's that time of the year again. I wish I could cooridinate my trip for next month when everyone will be there, but I have to go to NYC in March, so Chicago ends up in April. Besides, I'm hoping that if I wait until mid April, maybe I could come out on a Friday night and we could fish Saturday and Sunday. Then I could head to Skokie for the week for business. Let me know what you think. I would need a ride from the airport. Unless there is one close to you. Any chance if we work it out, I can crash on your couch. Work will fly me out early, but won't pay for a hotel until Sunday night. I can bring out some of those old catalogs we discussed for your museum.

You bet... I'll get my tournament schedule to you so we can compare dates... I have two weekens in April when I'll be gone.. but... we can always work soemthing out if I'm going to be home... April would be good for that "other fish"... Walleye and Sauger on the Illinois River or some maybe some Smallies on one of our power plant cooling lakes... Wisconsin is closed for bass, walleye, etc.. until May 4th(?)

I'm from the Chicago area as well -- it is early enough that you can hit the fox chain for bass and muskie -- action is good that time of year - pulled 4 muskie in 15 minutes the end of march last year on the chain (which is one of the top 50 muskie lakes in the country)....

Not looking good... March 28-30th GNWC Tourney on Ill River; April 2-7th WAT Tourney on the Mississippi River; April 10th-14th Our Rally; April 20th (Easter Weekend is "free", yeah right my wife would kill me...) April 25th-27th GNWC Tourney on Lake Springfield, IL... May 3rd Federation Club One day on Chain of Lakes... May 4th I'm taking out a film crew for a guide friend for a segment on Lake Geneva Wisconsin.. I'm the driver of the camera boat... May 9th-11th GNWC Tourney in Clinton, Illinois... Now the 15th through the 19th I'm in Hayward, Wi for a few days of recreational fishing with my son ... But on the weekend of th 25th of May I'm open... How about then and season is open in Wisconsin....and I have June 1 open sort of then the next three weekends (four days are tourneys)... Oh well...Somebody has got to do it.. might as well be me!!!

Probably the second week, I will confirm in March. Anyone that wants to get together let me know. I just need a place to crash one night or so. I can fly in Saturday morning and we can fish on Sunday. I'm hoping to stay right in downtown Chicago this time. Skokie is too far out.
