Gps sounders

Can anybody give any advice on wich one I should purchase betweenthe lorance LMS-240 or the Garmin 168 sounder.

I am interested in the mapping,GPS,and Sounder combos

I've got an '02 getting rigged with an LMS 240 , and as of yet I have not used it on the water. However, I have had a couple of LMS 160's and played with the 240 at various trade shows. The 240 is the 160 on steroids! It comes WAAS ready and with the X 91 guts for sounding. The best part is the flash card capability I've grown to love on my LCX 15, yet the overall size of an LMS 160. Both manufacturer's mentioned are high quality, I just prefer the dependability of one of the oldest leaders in the industry; Lowrance. Just my $.02.
