Good Mornin' Everyone.. It's supposed to be nice around here so I expect a lot of fishing to be going on. I've been feeling quite a bit better lately but I still don't have a fishing partner and I won't go out alone. My equilibriem is still off and that scares me somewhat. I might just go down to my creek and see what's going on or go about 15 miles away and try a little lake. It's all bank fishing there and 99% of the people that fish there do so with corn kernels or cheese and that's to catch the little Trout that's stocked there. So, maybe the Bass in there will look at that Senko and say

"Hey, what in the world is that? I'm going to taste it, it might be good":p

Everybody have a great and safe day!!

No fishing this week end for me. Working Sat and Sun.. The boss asked me to come in and bail him out. So I guess it good to be wanted.

Afternoon all. Uncle Billy, when you feel up to going out, shoot me a line. We'll set something up. Always glad to fish with you! If it makes you feel any better, you didn't miss anything today. Bite on the Lower Potomac was very tough. Got two fish (don't ask what size!) in nine hours :(. Plus, big tournament out of Leesylvania this morning (BFL?). 200 plus boats and all the courteous behavior you've come to expect from large tournaments.

Hey Jim, thanks and when I think I can I'll be sure to let you know so we can go get a few.

You know, when I really started bass fishing in the early 70's, you NEVER saw rude behavior on the water. Of course there weren't as many fishermen and boaters, I don't think B.A.S.S. had been around that long so there weren't many, if any, tournaments. The biggest problem then was seeing people keeping every darn thing they caught.

Then, as the sport grew, catch and release became the standard thanks to Ray Scott, but courtesy, kindness and consideration toward fellow anglers/boaters started going away.

Now, it's just about all gone and it's a shame.
