After going back and forth with Shimmano, I decided to have someone look at the reel to find what was wrong. Shimano sent me parts I asked for, however I was looking to the interent to have the problem solved. Anyway I found a shop close to me that is a satellite repair shop for Shimano. Took the reel there, (plus others) for cleaning, servicing. They went thru them completly and changed the part you told me about, and a bearing that was bad. They charged $20.00 per reel to clean and service.
Thanks again,
