Has anyone installed a battery tray on the port side of the battery compartment on a late model (2023 ) Nitro Z18 ? If so what size screw did you use ? And how thick is that area ? I don’t want to put a hole back there too deep ! Thanks for input .

My recommendation is to remove one screw from existing tray...buy the same screw in stainless steel, and only drill the pilot hole as deep as you need to to sink screw. Another tip is to take the drill bit and sink it into the hole you took the screw out of, mark it, and drill that deep. also add a dab of silicone marine sealant to each screw while installing....and freshen up the screw you removed with a dab too. Pretty easy job all in all.
