Is there a trick to keep the gas from exploding out the fill hole when fueling up the boat ? Even at slow fill speed, it still does it. Thanks, Sean

Trick 1: Never click the nozzle on and walk away, always control the flow and go slow.

Trick 2: Gotta find the sweet spot, usually have to cock the nozzle sideways toward the direction of the fill hose on the boat.

On my last boat, I would sometimes turn on the key and watch the gas gauge. I know it's not the most accurate, but close enough.

Mine is the same way...if you get the angle of the dangle correct, it won't puke on ya':p

Mine will suck down 40 gallons click off the nozzle and not even burp.:) The only thing puking is me opening my wallet:(

Not for nothin .... but my 2011 Nitro Z6 fills just fine at full throttle with no kick back. No brag - just fact.

I lift the rear hatch and watch the level rise in the tank itself.

Angle on the dangle !! Now that is funny!! My wife INSISTED on buying a used runabout recently. great boat. well taken care of. She said I could fish out of it. I said"Do you want me to get laughed of the lake?" Any way, I blew gas out the vent tube when we filled it up for the first time. The boat is 27 years old and runs great. Not sure the gas guage works right. Trial and error til we figure it out.
