My faith in mankind has been rekindled!!! For now.
I just received an email from Stanley CS requesting I return my Thermos for examination, and perhaps repair. In my reply, I told them I would be happy to pay repair costs and shipping, but if deemed "unrepairable", I requested that they send it back "as is". I will then gladly pay to replace it, if the wire tie, JB Weld, or duct tape becomes too unsightly.
I don't want sumpin' fer nuttin'; gist wanna be treated fair!
