Got a quick chance to wet my line Saturday morning and caught a few and then lost my lizzard and hook while setting the hook.... so I put the pole away and went back to my carpentry project. That evening, I retie my line with a new hook and lizzard. On the first first cast a fish hammers it and I bring him in and reach into his mouth to pull the hook and lo and behold this fish also has my other hook AND the lizzard I had lost earlier in the morning. That was one aggressive fish? Caught fish after fish on lizzards and lures during the short times I was able to fish.

It is the "Dead Sea"! We have to stop lying to all the people on this board and tell them what we really don't catch any fish and the pictures we show are all done with Photoshop! (Maybe that will keep them from coming to the lake on the weekend).

Lake Anna Beach Marina (near the dam at the old Pleasants Landing) held the 2006 Watercross competition this past weekend. Martie and I took the pontoon down and anchored outside the controlled area and watched for a few hours. Watercross is competition jetski's through a buoyed course. Some excellent riders. They also had the standups doing tricks which was awesome. If you haven't seen this type of competition you are really missing something.

The unfortunate thing is that many of the non-professional jet ski riders will now go out on the lake and attempt the same speeds and tricks with everyone around and make us hate them even more.
