Changing Livewell pumps - Pro Deep V17

I have a 2001 Tracker Pro Deep V 17 SC. I want to swap out the livewell pump so it can pull some water. Any tips on getting into the bilge area to swap these out for beefier pumps? Only way I can kind of see in there is through the battery compartment, but figure there have to be a relatively simple way to get to the bilge area.
