Buying new GPS

I am looking to buy a handheld GPS and wanted to know if anyone new about the new Magellan Meridian Platinum? I am also looking at the Global Map 100 and iFinder. Of these three which one would be the best for fishing and recreation plus traveling?

You didn't mention if price is a factor, but I think the Garmin units are hard to beat for reliability and ruggedness. Look at the GPS12 or GPS12 MAP.

I Have the Lowrance Global Map 100 and it is a great unit. I use it for hunting and fishing...
