With the knowledge you guys on this site have about Nitro boats, what would be a good hydraulic jackplate for a Nitro X-5 with a Merc Opti 115.I am not really looking for more speed, you can only get so much out of a 115HP. Maybe a better hole shot and shallow water running would be nice.Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hydraulic? Bob's Machine Shop "Bass Jack". VERY good quality. Ruskin, Florida.

Manual? Hydro-Dynamics "Rapid jack". Light, strong, easy to use.

100% agree with Bob. This is one area that I have quite a bit of experience with, and both of Bobs choices are my #1 picks as well.

I currently run a 10" Bobs Hydraulic on my rig, and I love it. The digital LED gauge is a very nice addition.

All the best,

Glenn
