That is an incredible story...Don't think I would ever consider a bayliner anyway...But, know I would not now...Not unless Olympic and Bayliner post a believeable rebuttal...Makes any "horror story" ever told here seem like a minor inconvenience

Can't get there through our firewall. What was the basis of the story?

MAN - IF, and that's a big IF (remebmer never trust anything you read on the internet till you've objectively varified it) this is a true story, WOW!

Rob here it is in a nutshell - Couple buys $36,000 bayliner cuddy cabin in CA. Boat 90% sinks first time out, dealer says nothing wrong and fixes a few things. Boat 90% sinks second time out, says nothing wrong and fixes a few things. Boat 90% sinks THIRD time out, dealer and manufacturer say nothing is wrong and won't replace the boat. Owner get's lawyer, Bayliner sends out rep who says nothing is wrong. Lawyer gets Bayliner to agree SOMETHING is wrong and no agreement on who will fix when!

Insure it and burn it! LOL Then run over the bayliner rep and the dealer and use them for chum from the new Hatteras the insurance money bought!

Take the Lawyer AND the salesman AND the Rep out for a nice long cruise in deeep water,.....bring 2 man life raft,...buyers use raft,.....Lawyer, Rep and Salesman discuss make-believe problems as ship goes down...buyers collect insurance......end of buyers problem. LOL

No comment. Still haven't got my foot out of my mouth from the last time.
