I just bought this boat, so far I have been able to figure everything about the live well except for the black hose that exits the stern on the left side( Hose on the right in first picture). It runs from the stern up towards the front of the boat, I assume it is going up to the live well which is on the front. The well fills with the pump and hose on the the right side (left in picture) It has a aeration re-circulation pump right at the live well and it has a rubber drain plug. When the drain plug is pulled the water drains out of the hull right beside the live well. I have read that some boats have a switch or lever that will pump out or drain the live well but I cannot find one on my boat. Anybody have any ideas what this hose might do?

Nope not one of them but thank you. I will be pulling up the floors this winter so I will figure it out.

I have a simple live-well system, turn on the fill/aerate pump, plug in the overflow tube and done. My discharge is or the starboard side by the live-well.

Yes mine is works pretty similar to that. I can fill and aerate the live well and it overflows just fine, then I can can pull the plug to drain it so it all works good, just can't figure out for the life of me what that hose is for. It's not a big deal, just bugs me because I it's there and I want to know why.
