We be harpooning in the morning a dynamite at night..jk....dragging small silver and shiny spinners early am, then switched to rattlers and crank bait in the afternoon. Most of the bass were at 11 to 12 feet right at the edge and near hard cover. Trout were at surface in 62 degree water in 35 to 40 feet of water, where the water is moving. Similar scenarios up river towards Bell Rapids, but could not break the 16 inch barrier there. The two bass the other day were at 15 and 17 (you can keep those on the southwest lakes, but not in the river in the treasure Valley area). We had a blast up stream a couple of days prior and reeled in several at 15 to 16 (CAR). Did get to keep 8 large trout though...time to pull out the pressure cooker and can some of them big boys!
Thanks for asking...happy fishing out there
