Since the concensus of all the Winnisquam regulars was that I was a bit too late for the beds, I passed on Winnisquam this year and just fished Winnipesaukee figuring it would be cooler with some beds yet.

It took a while but I finally did find some one morning and caught about 25 to 30 fish, but they were just 13-16 inches, not like the beasts of Winnisquam.

I did manage a personal best yesterday morning by getting a Largemouth just a bit shy of 22 inches.

It turned into a real good trip! :D Again thanks for info sharing guys!

Good guess Greg! About a half a mile from the ramp heading towards the main lake. The ramp there is real nice but when navigating around there you sure have to use the map and watch for rocks.

Pep Frog/HT Org is the color of the Bass Pro Stick-O ... 5 3/8 inches.

Mike,

Lees Mills has best largemouth in the lake, Navigation as a whole in Winni can be tricky. A map and GPS is an absolute must.Next time your at Winni look for salmon meadow cove, it is also a good spot for large mouth.

Checked out a bunch of post on Utube, pretty cool showing all those fish being released!
