Just read in the latest Bass and Walleye Boat Mag that Travis Boats (the nations 2nd largest boat retailer) is already part of Tracker Marine (Tracker is a controlling schareholder in Travis), but may very soon become a wholly owned subsidiary of Tracker. I guess this is not new news, searched the web and it articles were released in early-mid Nov.

So, any ideas what this might mean? Will Travis stores become Tracker stores and no sell competitive products? Will they expand the Travis stores to sell BPS stuff??

Trep,

The Nitro/Tracker dealer ( Outhouse Marine )where I got my NX750, about 6 months ago was turned over to Travis Center, when they took over everyone was let go. A shame because they had a great service and parts staff.

With huuuuge companies, most often it's not about the people, it's about the almighty dollar.
