Do you guys lock your doors at night?
Are you allowed to own handguns?
Why do you think that the United States has so many more deaths from firearms than Canada?
These questions are prompted by me going to see the film "Bowling for Columbine" last night..........
There were some interviews done in Canada. At one point, the producer walked up to random doors in a neighborhood and tried them; they were all unlocked!
They showed Canadians practicing with handguns at a firing range; yet I remember going to Canada in 1985 to hunt black bear and was told not to bring a handgun because, if I remember correctly, they were illegal. Or was it just illegal for me to bring one across the border?
Finally, the film makes some suggestions as to why our statistics on death by firearms are so much higher than your's..... I was just wondering what you guys thought.....
Thanks and God Bless!
