If I overnite stay at a slip on my favorite lake, can I leave the on board charger plugged in so my trolling batteries are ready to go next morning?

Yes, what charger do you have? Most have Float mode they go into once the batts are fully charged. Now there is some debate about leaving them plugged in all the time but that is a different issue. Personally, mine were plugged in whenever I was not fishing. I had a GUEST Charger.

I have had to do that a couple of times, just make sure your drop cord stays out of the water.
