You guys gonna get tired of me. Have so many questions.

I bought this for $384.00. Customer service well it sucks.

No idea what the pre-loaded card has. What sd card would

ya buy if ya live in north carolina? Seen a couple with

all the lakes here but price difference is kinda big.

Guess am out of luck for river detials to right?

Have some large rivers in this state but see no card with any.

Heres a link the the lowrance. Hope is ok to post.

I also live in northcarolina as far as lowrance goes in eastern nc its going to navionics gold . That card has most of the coastal rivers works good for lower neuse near havelock nc were I usually go and this time of year is some good fishing.Hope that helps

Hotmaps Premium East ($150) is what I used when I fished VA / NC / MD. The rivers were on the chip that I was using, but you have to realize that tidal rivers aren't going to have the detail that an inland lake or reservoir will have. The GPS will get you where you need to go, but don't count on it for high detail contours of tidal rivers.

Go to this link and click on the middle tab (coverage) to see the lakes this card contains:

By the way - That unit came pre-loaded with Navionics Gold for Coastal US and Canada. That link you posted goes directly to the Key Features page, which lists as it's very first key feature as "Packed with custom Navionics GOLD detail of Coastal US and Canada".

All the best,

Glenn

Thanks Much Guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its strange I use gps on ground surveys

but seem to stay confused about marine gps.

You Guys are great, no more

Hey...Bug you guys again. Been trying find this

out 4ever. Have that lowrance coming, I do know

mounting hardware comes with it, transducer and

power cord.

1 - If I get a dumb streak which happens, have

no detailed instuctions ya know anything about

wiring?

2 - Say you want to upgrade finders. On mine

the 97 tracker finder is at wheel, 97 humminbird

at troll motor. Not clear in pics but can see.

Upgrading would ya have to change out mounting

hardware and wiring? Dumb question probably but

there is a lot I dont understand. I heard ya can

use existing but cant be sure.

1) Yeah. I know a little about wiring. It's pretty straightforward though. Not much to mess up. Instruction manual should be pretty clear about what goes where.

2) You cannot use either of those units hardware / wiring for the Lowrance unit. If by hardware you meant nuts and bolts or screws, then that's a possibility. If by hardware you meant the mount, then that would be a "no". The basic positive and negative wires installed in your boat going up to that point are reused. Everything else is removed and replaced by the Lowrance wiring.

All the best,

Glenn
