They finally, late Friday afternoon, postponed our SC Federation Tournament (last Sat.), when Horry County issued a voluntary evacuation order. It will be held this coming Saturday instead.
Good news is, that the tides for this Saturday are much more favorable. The tide starts going out, just about the time we launch and run through about 10:00-10:30AM. It will be an early morning bite, likely followed by slow fishing. The tide starts coming back in around 12:30-1:00PM, reaching high tide just about when we weigh in.
Now if ol' 'Earl' will just keep moving westwardly . . . .
