I was just in Edenton, NC. My wife and I are thinking of moving there. I happen to see someone fishing inside of the Albemarle Sound. He said there was a large bass tournament there this weekend. Anyone out there from that area? Any insights to the fishing there?

I believe that Tournament is the FLW NE regional. Friend of mine scouted the place out a few weeks ago. He found some fish. There were pockets of cypress and some lily pads close to whatever ramp they were using for the tourney. Local guys and others told him most of the guys will be making long runs inland some 60-90 miles to find quality fish.
