...which control the livewell timer on my old boat don't work any more....at least not if the temperature is over 80...have to leave the livewell in "manual" mode all day....are they still available or is there a better system

I should explore?
 
yes you can still get them 30.00 each at a tracker dealer.bring your hull vin#. thats how they know which one you need. mine had 3 wires,new ones had more than three. extras were jumpers. by getting rid of the jumpers i ended up with the same 3 wires and same colors. different plug. i cut the plug off old one and spliced onto new one. plugged right in. stan
 
Thanks fellers....seems like most of the aftermarket timers also cost $30....now the dilemma is, do I stay with the tried and failed OEM system or replace it with one of the newer rheostats?
