I am changing out the bearings this weekend on my 2000 Nitro 896 with a duel axle trailer. Should be fun (sarcasm). It has been really hot here lately, but the work needs to get done so I don't miss out on any fishing. The boat has the original bearings and they have been greased before and after almost every trip and I am the original owner. I have changed bearing once and repacked once on an older boat. Does anyone know where I can get some step by step directions...possibly even with pictures on how to change out my bearings. The trailer has breaks, which is one thing that I have never done before.

Thanks in advance.

Keep track of what tools you need to change the bearings. Pack them away in the truck, or buy some cheap ones to stash away.

Clean up the old bearings, put a light coating of grease on them, seal them in a bag and stash them away in the truck also.

You may be thankful you have spares some day.
