The answer I got when I put my 80 Fortrex on was no. Unless I bought a hell of alot smaller motor. 10guage wire is what I had on mine from the factory. It is not worth the boat burning after spending a G on a motor, to scrimp on $100 upgrade. Wire was about $60 then the Marinco plug and socket, and curcuit breaker. Found deals on-line. Good luck was the best upgrade I have made to the boat to date.
