Z9 steering wheel has play up and down

I've got a 2010 z9, my steering column has play up and down. Is there a way to tighten up something to get this tighter? It seems to be getting worse. I appreciate your help on this matter.

Thanks for the reply. I pulled the boot up an found the play was in the knuckle. The left side has what appears to be a white grommet, the right side is missing. This is where the Play is. I don't know what this would be called..

Side bushing, sounds like it's warn out and gone, you can get them from Sea Star marine Hydraulic steering Co. Bushing kits are very inexpensive. And easy to change out.
