Something a little different than the standard jokes about Rednecks. If the following hold true then you might want to consider that you have a little Redneck in your blood (even if you are a Yankee)





We have enjoyed the redneck jokes for years. It's time to take a reflective look at the core beliefs of a culture that values God, Country, Home, and Family. If I had to stand before a dozen terrorists who threaten my life, I'd choose a half dozen or so rednecks to back me up. Tire irons, squirrel guns and grit -- that's what rednecks are made of. I hope I am one of those. If you feel the same, pass this on to your redneck friends. Ya'll know who ya' are...



You might be a redneck if: It never occurred to you to be offended by the phrases, "One nation, under God" or "In God We Trust".



You might be a redneck if: You've never protested about seeing the 10 Commandments posted in public places.



You might be a redneck if: You still say "Christmas" instead of "Winter Festival."



You might be a redneck if: You bow your head when someone prays.



You might be a redneck if: You stand, take your hat off, and place your hand over your heart when they play the National Anthem.



You might be a redneck if: You treat Viet Nam vets with great respect, and always have.



You might be a redneck if: You believe America was built on Freedom, One Nation Under God, Justice for All, and minorities should not over-ride the majority.



You might be a redneck if: You believe serving your country is the right thing to do and you honor all those in the military no matter who is in the White House.



You might be a redneck if: You think those that do protest should earn that right by being willing to serve our country in uniform.



You might be a redneck if: You've never burned an American flag.



You might be a redneck if: You know what you believe and you aren't afraid to say so, no matter who is listening.



You might be a redneck if: You respect your elders and expect your kids to do the same.



You might be a redneck if: You'd give your last dollar to a friend.

I only wish it did fit all of us. I am amazed that during sporting events that when the colors are shown and the National Anthem is played that so many people ignore it and continue to talk on their cell phones, don't remove their hats or continue talking to the people around them. I had words with a "gentleman" one time about his talking and not removing his hat during the National Anthem that we nearly came to blows. Ignorant SOB!

Both drink beer while driving their truck... But, the redneck throws his empties onto the side of the road... And, the good ol boy throws them into the bed of the truck to recycle later...LOL
