I had some warranty work done on my '06 Targa 165sc. It seems there were four 3/4" long cracks in one area of the hull just in front of the steering consol. The weld job looks great, but I'm still wondering if they will hold. Tracker told me that they put more bracing in that area because the hull was "flexing" to much and that is where the cracks opened up. I only noticed it near the end of the season. I always pull my drain plug on the ramp to see if there is any water that my bilge might not have gotten. I hope to get several more years out of this particular boat. I have it all set up for trolling for walleyes and for still fishing for perch on the Saginaw Bay. I may be looking to trade this one in for a 17' or 18' Targa which I think would be better for the waters I fish. I will keep you all posted as soon as I can get the boat in the water here in Michigan.
