Can't really help ya with the comparison to a Targa,

we ended up with a 2002 Pro deep v 16 SC here, and love it, but if I could have come up with a little more $$ I really liked what I saw of the Targa's.....hopefully some Targa and Pro Deep V 17 folks can help ya with it, good luck! egMike

p.s.- THIS IS ONLY A GUESS but I'd guess the weight includes the trailer?
