What company(s) manufactures Gelcoat?

I can't believe anyone gave you an answer to this yet----I would assume that each manufacturer har their own formula for gel. I watched a pretty interesting show the other day and they went step-by-step in the bass boat manuf. process. I didn't know that the gel is actually applied to the top cap mold FIRST. Bass boats (GLASS Bass Boats cause everybody knows "dem bassus luvs sparkles") are made backwards.....

DuPont or 3M makes it,....among several others probably!!

Blew my mind when I learned that, too, TOX..... One of these days I'm going to have to get into a boat plant and see the entire process first hand!



I kinda had a feeling that it might be someone like 3M or DuPont, Mac..... But, on the other hand, I didn't know how big the total market was for such a product and thought that, if it were limited enough, it might not prove to be profitable for a very large enterprise to get into.....
