water in bilge

I have a tournament v 17 1989 the bilge only has to run when I fill the livewell,

so obviously that is where the water is coming from. So how can I find the leak, or shall i say how to I access the bottom of the livewell and the infeed line; because the best I can see it is isolated behind the wall that seperates the well and the fuel / battery compartment

Scott, I am not sure about the V17 but if it is laid out like the Pro-Angler, you can pull the storage compartment boxes out that are near the livewell and get full access to the plumbing. That is how I used to check my old Pro-Angler.Also check the top of the livewell to see if water can leak through where the livewell is mounted to the deck. I had to silicone mine.
