water from under the dash

1998 tracker Nitro 185 Sf, first time after winter took to the lake,and water coming from under the dash below steering wheel, the faster you go, the more water dripping in, looks like there are two metal boxes there, any one had this problem?

Sounds like the tube going to your speedometer has frozen and broken or has come loose. Just cut it back and reattach it to the back of your speedometer and you should be good to go.

OR....your water pressure gauge.

I remove the two water lines from the gauges when I winterize to make sure there is no trapped water to freeze. Luckily, I've never forgot to put them back on!

Ahhhhh.....Nothing better on a cold spring morning than to have your boat spray your crotch with ice cold lake water!! :lol::lol::lol: Been there, done that. AND....by the time you realize what is going on you have to fish 1/2 the day with a wet spot that looks like you pee'd yer pants.....:blink::blink:

Thank you, you guys are the best, now that I thought about it, my speedometer did stop working, so it has to be there, I will get to it before 4th of Jul weekend, taking camping trip to Harlan County Lake, thanks again, great help.
