As some on here know, I've been a Police Officer for quite a long time, and my career will be winding down in just a few years. I will be too young to retire, yet too old to continue with Police work the way I like to do it. Therefore, I thought now would be a good time to start getting myself out there in preparation for my post Police life. Today I interviewed and was hired as a part time group supervisor of security at Ford Field, home of the Super Bowl bound Detroit Lions (Us Detroiters never stop hoping...!). I will be working all the games and other events at the stadium, supervising a security team. Hopefully the gig will evolve into bigger and better things as I near retirement. Keep your eyes peeled for a big goofy guy around the sidelines...it just may be me...! I just wish the Lions had cheerleaders....!
