VA boater safety courses

It looks like you will need to pass a boater safety course to operate a boat in Virginia in the future. It looks like the legislature will pass legislation stage in the requirement by 2009. I already have mine, DC requires it to operate on their portion of the Potomac River.

Not a bad idea given what I've seen at Lake Anna and on the Potomac! I've taken my course (online) due to DC's requirement for the Potomac so I'm covered as well.
