Jeff,

I think one a few months ago (not the same lure, but another brass one) sold for over $100,000.00...way over!

I have a few old creek chubs and some other oldies hanging on my wall But, I won't pay for them... I can't afford to buy Rapalas... let alone mega bucks wall hangers!

Funny thing is that most of the time the boxes they came in are more valuable than the lure!! LOL!! Kinda like old album art. It's not the album cover that is valuable it is the sleeve inside. Go figure....

TOXIC

I've got a couple of those. I alternate it with some of my premium topwater lures (which, have you noticed, aren't that much less than that anymore!!!!!!). YOu know this guy was shocked beyond belief on this one.

If any of you a really interested in antique fishing equipment of all kinds you owe it to yourself to visit the Fishing Tackle Museum in Jenks Okla. It is the collection of Karl White that has the Q & A column in the back of Bassmaster magazine. There are tons of stuff like this including the first Skeeter bass boat. The most valuable item is a baitcasting reel made in England around 1850. Can't remember exactly but it seems like it was worth around 150 grand. That's a whole bunch of Shimano Calais.

Harpo

A Haskin minnow went for $102,000 on Langs auction about a month ago.
